FairPlay Vouchers, who qualifies and key dates!

Parents, carers or guardians can apply for a voucher valued up to $150 for their child or young person, which can be used towards membership, registration or participation fees with registered activity providers.
Eligible applicants are Queensland children and young people aged 5 to 17 (inclusive) who either:
- hold or whose parent/carer/guardian holds a valid Department of Human Services Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card with the child’s name on it
- If a parent/carer is currently receiving JobSeeker payments, they are eligible for a Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card, and can apply for a FairPlay voucher using this card.
- are identified by a registered referral agent.
*Please note that there is a limit of one voucher per child/young person per calendar year, applications are open twice a year. If a child receives a voucher in the summer (January-April) round of the program, they will not be eligible to apply for the winter (July-September) round of the same year.
Key dates
- 6 July 2020: New round applications open.
- 7 October 2020: Applications close.
- 11 November 2020: Vouchers expire and must have been presented to an activity provider.
As part of the FairPlay terms and conditions for activity providers, Horizon Tennis can’t provide a refund for any part of a voucher to a parent or guardian. However, for any remaining registration fees, our terms and conditions apply.
