Junior Programming
Kids 4 - 11 fall into our hotshots programming. These classes develop technical, athletic and strategic skills. Does you child want action and fun? Do you want your child to gain confidence, develop skills and see your child shine? These areas don't have to be conflicting. It's really quite simple, our programs develop skill with fun games. By having a balanced structure, they'll gain a love for the sport and welcome challenges with confidence.
A very important piece to a child's development is their involvement in structured competition both as a team and as an individual. Kids that get involved in our competitions build confidence to play with their peers.
As kids are introduced to group lessons and team challenges, families can choose to follow a performance pathway or continue on their developmental pathway. Whether your child begins at 4 or 14, they can access the performance pathway as long as their commitment level fits. We are always open to discuss your child's development and cater a unique journey for them.
Junior Group Lessons
In group lessons kids get to develop skills amongst peers while still getting individualised attention from the coach. Our 6 kids on court ratio provides them with plenty of variety with who they play with as well as the ability for coaches to differentiate drills/games to match the players ability or to provide more of a challenge for those wanting it.
Junior Private Lessons
A customised approach to tennis. Coaches instil strong fundamentals and prioritise areas of the players game that need the most attention. We also use our proven corrective techniques to fix any bad habits you have picked up along the way. It's your lesson, if you want to focus more on point play or rally, that is fine to.
How young is too young for tennis? And if my child is older and has never had a lesson before, where do they start?
We start coaching kids as early as 4 years old. It is a thrill to see your child hit their first ball over the net! We invite parents on court to get in on the action.
Starting a new sport can be daunting but don't worry as we take the pressure off by introducing your child to the sport in way that gives them a heap of success right from the start. All kids want to feel that they are progressing. We set them up for success by building on skills at a pace that they are comfortable with.
